Free2BMe has been busy playing elves for Santa! Last weekend we had our first ever Breakfast for Santa for the children of the women we serve! The event was held at the Eastern YMCA and we had our very own visit from Santa Claus! The kids had fun and we were even able to invite Y guests to join in on the fun!

We have also been working on blessing the ladies we serve with Christmas gifts for their children.  Several churches and organizations partnered with us this year to make Christmas happen for several families! Thank you to Genesis Christian Fellowship, Madison Church of the Nazarene and Bay Park Community Hospital.

We also want to send a thank you to Nu-Vizion for our new partnership for our Praise & Prayer Gatherings. They have generously opened their building to Free2BMe once a month! We are excited about this ministry partnership!

It's that time of year again! Our team spent two weekends this Christmas season wrapping gifts at Signature Harley-Davidson for a donation! We were able to have a lot of fun, build awareness and raise some money for our Christmas party!

We are throwing a Christmas Brunch with Santa for The Free2BMe Project, this coming Saturday, December 17th at the Eastern YMCA.

Sending a big thank you to Signature for partnering with us once again to make this year a success!!!

This past Friday we began our Christmas visits to area clubs.  This was the first year that we had the pleasure of shopping for not only our ladies, but we also picked eight of those ladies and we shopped for their fourteen children! God really blessed this endeavor! We had a couple of different churches step up and donate both monetarily, as well as gifts! Overall, the experience has been fabulous!

As we delivered the gifts on Friday, we were welcomed with hugs and kisses. Each time we enter the clubs, we are blown away by the grace and love that is present because God is present and preparing the way for relationships to be built.  The ladies that we meet and serve are absolutely beautiful women with hearts that in many cases are just longing for someone to care! It is such honor to know them and call them our friends! Unfortunately we were unable to deliver a couple of our packages because the ladies they belong to have changed clubs or left the business.

This however, did give us opportunity to enter a new club with Christmas goodies for the ladies who work there, in search for the moms that we had brought gifts for.  We didn't find them.  But God was faithful to allow us to get our foot in the door at this new club, which we hope to begin a beautiful relationship with.

The gift of Christmas was the presence of God with us, Emmanuel.  The gift didn't stop there. Jesus came to die. Mary gave birth to the death that would bring us life. To be the gift of redemption and restoration. And yet, God didn't stop there, he gave the gift of his Spirit to be with us always! We are not alone! God is present! He is with us! He will never leave us, nor forsake us! His gift is eternal and it is meant to transform the world! Where is God working in your life? What's He up to?

Are you thirsty?

Staying hydrated during the course of exercise is crucial because water is what delivers oxygen to the muscles, fueling them in the course of your work-out. Without adequate fluids, the cardiovascular system is strained, the probability of heat injury skyrockets, and performance is impaired. Studies show that the average person does not drink nearly the amount of fluids required to prevent dehydration. Make sure you are keeping yourself hydrated!!!!!

Wishing you a very Merry Christmas!!!
